A star is born: Gabriel Titus Gessle.
"With the initials G.T just like my Ferrari, or why not like
Gyllene Tider", says Per Gessle.
He looks like he has it pretty good, Gabriel
Titus Gessle, lying there with daddy Per and mummy Åsa in their home
in Halmstad. He came into the world at Karolinska hospital in Stockholm
on 5th of August. To the sounds of the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" came the
53 centimetre long and 3.68 kilo heavy start into the world. A big chap
despite the early birth - but there were no complications and the whole
family were well after the delivery. And daddy Per was happy about his
son's long piano-fingers. But what the baby's name should be was still
unclear. For a long time the baby's working name had been Ringo, after
the drummer in the Beatles. But now Per and Åsa have agreed on Gabriel
Titus Gessle. In an earlier interview in the summer Per Gessle said to
Expressen that he was looking forward to become a father. Joking he said
that he already had big plans for his child - "I hoping that he at least
will be an ice-hockey professional or a "playmate of the year", Gessle
said and laughed. Now when it's a Gabriel Titus it looks like the "playmate
of the year" is no longer an option. But he can still be an ice-hockey
pro. Or a popstar like Daddy.
